LAGOS -- A group of unidentified gunmen attacked a community in Nigeria's northern state of Kaduna, killing one person and abducting scores of others, local police said Saturday.

LOS ANGELES -- At least one person was killed and four others were injured after a shooting during a party early Saturday morning in Phoenix, capital of the southwestern U.S. state of Arizona.

MEXICO CITY -- The death toll from a gas truck explosion earlier this week in western Mexico's Nayarit state rose to 15 after the sole survivor of the tragedy died in the hospital, local officials said on Saturday.

ABUJA -- Four people were killed on Saturday following a road crash involving a truck and a bus in Nigeria's southwestern state of Ogun, local authorities said.
