5.3-magnitude earthquake strikes Mexico's Oaxaca State

MEXICO CITY, 4th December, 2025 (WAM) -- A 5.3-magnitude earthquake struck the state of Oaxaca in southern Mexico on Thursday.

According to the US Geological Survey, the quake occurred 23 kilometres from the city of Salina Cruz at a depth of 62.2 kilometres.

There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
