5.0-magnitude quake hits off coast of Jalisco, Mexico -- GFZ

BEIJING, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted off the coast of Jalisco, Mexico, at 1933 GMT on Friday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 18.82 degrees north latitude and 106.59 degrees west longitude.
